WHAT IS A PEDI-FACIAL?

WHAT IS A PEDI-FACIAL?

Have you ever gotten a facial before? If yes, a pedi-facial is very similar. We want to dive in and share with you how you can easily perform this in the comfort of your own home. Plus, discuss what are the benefits.

A facial consists of four steps: cleanse, exfoliate, mask and moisturize. Each step moves you closer to healthy and happier feet. Treating your feet well has a direct correlation to you whole body feeling better.

CLEANSE: This can take place in the shower as you wash you body. Or you can simply use a foot cleansing spray. Check out our latest blog about your cleansing options.

EXFOLIATE: You can exfoliate in a couple of different ways. Either by using a mask or a foot scrub.

MASK: This step is good for addressing what your skin or feet are missing. For example a moisturizing, detoxifying or nourishing masque. Typically, your masque should be applied for at least 10 minutes.

MOISTURIZE: This is the last step and key to soft and happy feet. We recommend a moisturizer that is emollient and will lock in hydration. A butter, cream or balm is ideal. Lotions tend to consist primarily of water and will leave your skin feeling dry shortly after application.

A pedi-facial doesn't necessarily include any clipping of toenails, maintenance of cuticles or polishing toenails. It's focusing on the health of you feet and skin, just like a facial. However, it doesn't mean that they can't be included in the finished product.
