On the first day of Nourishment, myself gave to me... a Polish Free Pedi. Here's are the items you will need to make them ritual happen:
- pedi bowl (I love my pedi bowl, but here are alternative options.
- nail clippers
- cuticle pusher
- a towel
- foot file
- gift of Exhale giftset
What better way to nourish your soul & soles than doing a soothing ritual of soaking your feet after a long week. For today, I am using my Gift of Exhale trio. Notes of Lemongrass and Spearmint fill the air and instantly relaxes me and makes me feel like I'm at a spa. I fill my pedicure bowl with really warm water and shake in about two tablespoons of soak.
While I wait for my salts to dissolve, I quickly cut my toe nails prior ti soaking my feet. I soak my feet and close my eyes for about 15 minutes. I literally feel my weekly stress melt down and out of my body.
After soaking, I grab my cuticle pusher and scoop out any gunk that accumulates in my cuticle line and I use my moisturizing foot polish to scrub off all the dead skin. Just to ensure my feet are nice and smooth, I use my foot file for any stubborn spots. I rinse my feet one last time in my soak water and pat my feet dry with my towel.
Now that my feet are clean and soft, I reach for my nourishing foot butter in lemon ginger, which is my favorite.
I choose not to paint my toenails sometimes in order to make sure my toenails are in good health.
Happy Nourishing!
